I recently went to visit my friend Dan Lonergan (a fellow American) in his amazing furniture shop called Gotham Notting Hill. Dan is an architect by trade, but decided to open this store about ten years ago because he was looking to furnish his own place and just couldn’t find the modern furniture he was looking for in the London furniture shops at the time.

He carries mostly French brands (Hugues Chevalier, Pouenat, etc.), but also a smattering of classic Knoll pieces. In addition to his store, Dan offers interior design and architectural services, and has a celebrity clientele. 

One of his big projects was the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda in Virgin Gorda, which opened this past January. His present projects are hush hush. Gotham is a must-stop for any design enthusiast passing through Notting Hill.
